Evangelism - Big word..., and the definition found in the dictionary is long. To save space I will refer you to CCC's mission statement. That's Evangelism. You are Evangelism, just by accepting Christ in your life. Hal and Myra may chair the Evangelism committee, but they cannot do anything without you. Evangelism is really about small things. Saying hello to new comers, giving food to the food bank, Room at the Inn, ACT ministry, blanket ministry, singing in the choir, Cookie ministry, all of these are about showing the love of Christ. Remember this is not your church. This is Christ’s Church, we are just members here on the corner of Maney and Main, to show Christ's love, here and abroad, through our varied ministries. In the coming months there will be opportunities to invite others to events at church. Not to convert or make new members, that's not our job, that is for Christ to do. We just need to make the introduction by showing the love of Christ that is in each of us. Christ does the rest. Evangelism…Hmm…..More of an action not a word.
