Pastoral Counseling Cemter

Pastoral Counseling Center of Murfreesboro has an office in the upper level at First Baptist Church at 200 E. Main Street; telephone 904-9547. The counselors are ordained ministers who have completed work to receive counseling degrees.

They charge clients on a sliding scale according to their ability to pay.

Our motto is that no one is ever turned away because of lack of funds. They cannot, however prescribe medicine or admit you to a hospital. There are many areas of counseling that are available to those wishing this type of treatment.

Our purpose is two fold:

to increase public awareness to the center's purpose and mission; and
Many people face difficult issues and struggles, but cannot afford the cost of counseling they so desperately need. This event will help raise funds to provide these services to those who cannot afford them.
