OUR  OVERSEAS HEROES

This page is for listing prayer requests for family service men and women who are in some way related to our church and are serving overseas active duty.

Kim and Mark Harmon,  Bill Hollingsworth's daughter and son in law.

Mark is already in Iraq and Kim, is in the Reserves.  Their home is in Ft. Sill, OK, and they have school age children.

Their grandmother will live with them while Kim and Mark are both overseas.

One of our "lost Boys" is over there. Kyu-Yong Ahn, army, A company. 1-30 IN, 2BDE, 3 ID, Unit # 42543, APO AE, 09361. Kyu was adopted from Korea to a dysfunctional couple across the street in Ann Arbor. Over the years he has become one of ours. Janet

We are excited to report that Major Nathan Henderson

is off our "overseas Heroes List".  He returned safely! Hallelujah

Pastor Steve heard from a former neighbor in Terrell, TX asking for prayers for a Soldier in Iraq. This 19 yr. old soldier's name is J. D. Emard. J. D. and his Squad are facing some very difficult days ahead and prayers are requested for them.

6/5/2008:  I was searching the web for information about J. D. Emard when I came across your website on Overseas Heroes. Yesterday evening at church, First Assembly of God in Terrell, I heard that J.D. had been killed at 4:00 a.m. in the morning. He was my neighbor near Terrell, Texas. He was a wonderful, charismatic, determined young man. He went to school with my daughter and we used to pick him up and carry him to church on Wednesday nights. He will be missed, but we will see him again in heaven. God bless.
