Rev. Steven Odom

* Born in Jacksonville, FL, July 4,1954. Fifth generation Floridian

* Raised in Jacksonville, Gainesville and Tallahassee, FL

* Baptized and joined church in 1969 in Tallahassee

* Attended College of World Mission in San Juan, Puerto Rico freshmen year of college

* B.A. from Florida State in 1977, English/ Clinical Psychology

* Married Cornelia Briggs August 16,1977 (day Elvis died!)

* Master of Divinity from Emory University's Candler School of

Theology in 1981.

* Ordained at FCC in Tallahassee in 1980

* Campus Minister at University of Wisconsin in Madison 1980-82

* Associate Minister at Park Ridge Community Church in Park Ridge, IL1982-87

* Called to Palisades Community Church in Washington D.C. 1987-1993

* Called to First Christian Church in Terrell, TX 1993-2006

* Hobbies are gardening, walking, reading, theology, history

Gabrielle Martin is the Youth Director. She and her husband, Mike and children Josh and Nichole are members of Central Christian Church

John B. Mears is our Minister of Music. John has a Bachelors degree in music education from Middle Tennessee State University and is a band director in the Rutherford County school system.

Pat Parris is our Accompanist. He is a skilled organist and also serves as organist at First Baptist Church. Pat is Manager of Printing at Continental Life Insurance Company. Pat and his wife Karen have three children: Jonathan, Elizabeth, and Benjamin.

Pam Hunt is the Administrative Assistant at Central Christian Church. She is the capable and friendly person who greets those who contact the church during the week--whether in person, on the telephone, or via e-mail. Pam develops and assembles all of the church publications, and generally keeps us organized. She is married to Greg Hunt. They have one daughter Leanna Grace. Pam has three boys Ryan, Garrett, and Dillon from a previous marriage and their last names are Stahr.

Larry Jenkins is our custodian.

He takes cares of our buildings and grounds, keeping them in looking good.
